Tip runs without the trailer

Hiring a trailer, loading it yourself and queuing at the tip takes a whole day, and often more than one trip. We bring a tail-lift truck and the people to load it, take everything in one go and leave the space clear. It's a common job before a move, after a renovation, when a property is being sold or at the end of a lease.

Charity and donation drop-offs

Furniture that's still in good condition doesn't have to go to landfill. We can drop it at charity stores such as the Salvation Army and Vinnies on the same run, and take whatever can't be donated to the tip. Charities usually only accept clean items in good condition and may refuse some things, such as mattresses, so check with the store first or send us photos and we'll help you work out what can go where.

How much does rubbish removal cost?

Rubbish removal and donation runs are charged at our normal hourly rates: from $90 an hour with one mover or $140 an hour with two, using the 4.5 tonne truck, with a 2-hour minimum. The job is quicker, and cheaper, when everything is ready in one place near the truck. There's no extra charge on weekends or public holidays. Prices exclude GST. See all our prices.

How to book

1. Send photos of what needs to go, and of the access (stairs, driveway, where the truck can park).
2. Tell us if anything should go to a charity store instead of the tip.
3. We reply with how long it should take, what it will cost and the first available time.

Common questions

Can you combine a rubbish run with a house move?

Yes. We can take your rubbish to the tip and your donations to a charity store on the same day as your move, so you only move what you want to keep.

Do you remove rubbish on weekends?

Yes, at the same rates as weekdays. Weekend and public holiday bookings have no surcharge.
